We are looking to appoint a new Trustee who has significant knowledge in UK Charity Law. With a small friendly team of 6 Trustees the Eva Crane Trust is seeking a new trustee with a legal and/or financial background whose expertise and knowledge will strengthen our operations by providing appropriate insight into charity law, data management and financial planning. An interest in beekeeping and bee science would be helpful, but it is not essential.  

The Board of Trustees is comprised of scientists with knowledge and expertise of the research methods employed in studying the activities of bees, as well as members who, having worked with Eva Crane, understand her aspirations in establishing the Trust.

The ECT is global in its scope. The objectives of the Trust are:

  “To advance the education of the public in the science of apiology and to promote, finance and organise research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results of bee research and the history of bee research.”
