Supporting Bee Research around the World

Supporting Bee Research around the World

Those who have read about our founder Dr Crane, know that she travelled extensively during her lifetime. The hundreds of personal photographs that she took on visits to all corners of the world are testimony to this (see Gallery). Her enthusiasm to learn and share information about all species of bee at an international level provided the foundation for the Eva Crane Trust:

“To advance the understanding of bees and beekeeping by the collection, collation
and dissemination of science and research worldwide”.

Over the past 5 years (2016 to 2020 inclusive) the Eva Crane Trust has supported over 63 bee related projects with the research and funding reaching a total of 25 countries. All of the projects have been varied but innovative, with the prospect of sharing findings and knowledge to an international audience.
