Update on Grant Giving Activity

As an international grant giving Trust we are used to dealing with various organisations and institutions around the world. We realise that the Covid-19 pandemic has in some way affected nearly all of you and as I write, different countries are at different stages in dealing with the outbreaks affecting them.

However, we must look to the future and start to return to ‘normal’. We understand that some academic institutions and laboratories are starting to re-open and hopefully everyone can soon return to their research and bee projects.

Therefore, the Trustees are pleased to announce that they will be accepting new grant applications this autumn. However, they urge all applicants to be realistic in planning schedules and to be practical, by taking into consideration the situation and its ramifications in their country.

Please note that the deadlines have changed. The next closing date is 1st September 2020. Further details can be found on the Criteria web page

We look forward to receiving your applications.
In the meantime stay safe – wherever you are!

Funding  Announcement

It is with regret that the Eva Crane Trust announces that it is suspending all grant giving activities for the next 3 months. As the Coronavirus pandemic affects nearly everyone in the scientific and beekeeping community, we are suspending all payments of grants until further notice.

This also means that the Trust will not be accepting grant applications for the next deadline on 1st May 2020.

The Trustees will review the situation regularly and we will keep you informed of changes via our web site, Facebook and Twitter pages.

These are unprecedented times and we look forward to supporting bee projects again soon.
