Swiss medal for diligence

Obverse: crowned coat of arms of Bern (with bear) and laurel leaves at sides; lettering = RESPUBLICA BERNENSIS. Reverse: hive surrounded by foliage and flying bees; lettering = LABOR OMNIBUS IDEM (Engl.: Work is the same for everyone), PRAEM DILIG. The medal was probably awarded to students who distinguished themselves in diligence and hard work.
